What is this product
The general wellness and energy screen is a comprehensive blood test that checks the functioning of your liver, thyroid, kidney, and measures your cholesterol levels, Vitamin B12, and Vitamin D levels.Requirments
If you have symptoms of unexpected weight loss, you should discuss this with your doctor immediately. Continue to take your normal thyroid medication, do not stop it for this test. Not everybody needs to fast for a cholesterol test. However, if you have previously been told that you have high cholesterol, or are on treatment, and it is safe to do so, we recommend that you fast for 12 hours to ensure the accuracy of your LDL result. You can still drink clear water. Confirm this with your doctor if you are unsure, have diabetes or have any other medical problem or medication which requires you to eat regularly. Your results may be affected if you have recently been unwell or are taking Biotin (Vitamin B7) or other vitamin supplementation, so please discuss this with your doctor.Fasting required
