How do I know if the test is right for my patient?
A semen analysis is a useful assessment for anyone who is trying for a baby now, or planning to in the future. Male infertility affects 50% of couples having difficulty with conceiving, so a semen analysis is a useful place to start if you are currently experiencing
this. For those who are not quite ready yet, discovering if there is an issue early on can help you to prepare and make necessary lifestyle changes to improve your sperm health over time.
A message from Malebox
We are excited to share the Malebox home-to-lab semen analysis kit with clinicians. Years of research and development has resulted in a repeatable analysis process that utilises current in-person analysis techniques and implements new preservation techniques with complex predictive modelling to facilitate at-home collection. The kit and predictive models have been rigorously developed and tested however, there will be some rare cases where analysis isn’t possible due to samples degrading too quickly - in these cases a replacement kit will be offered.
